Terms & Conditions

Bakers Direct Ltd reserve the right to change these terms and conditions from time to time without prior notice.

For the Purpose of these terms and conditions, ‘we’ and ‘us’ refers to The seller ie Bakers Direct Ltd and ‘you’ and ‘your’ refers to the Buyer ie you the customer.

Trade Accounts

  •  We are a trade supplier and we require evidence of business trading before we can supply products to you.
  • Bakers reserve the right to reject any application and to cancel trade accounts.
  • If you wish to open a trade account with us you should apply in writing via email to [email protected], providing details regarding your business.

Supply of Products

• All prices quoted are trade prices and are subject to change without notice.

  • The goods will be your responsibility and risk after delivery.
  • We do not operate a sale or return policy.
  • Title to the goods is retained by Bakers Direct Ltd until full payment is received from the customer and cleared funds through the bank.
  • As the majority of our products are hand finished, there may be some slight variations in colour or finish from that shown in our brochure.
  • We do not operate ‘drop shipping’ ie delivery direct to your customer.
  • We always aim to fulfil your entire order. However there may be occasions where a product is either out of stock or has been delayed at production.

Payment Terms

  • For all new customers, payment is on a proforma basis ie prior to delivery.
  • Acceptable payment methods are BACS, bank transfer, cheque, debit/credit cards.
  • There is a charge of 1.5% for credit cards. This does not apply to debit cards.
  • Our bank details can be found on the bottom of our invoices. Please note that this may be subject to change.
  • We reserve the right to charge interest on overdue balances and any costs incurred in recovering overdue amounts will be charged to the customer.

Minimum Order Value

  • All Products are delivered by our vans or by pallet or a courier company.
  • Minimum order to mainland UK value is £600 plus vat, carriage paid.
  • Minimum order to Scotland is £600 plus vat, carriage paid.
  • Please contact us for carriage charges for non Uk destinations.

Returns/Damages

  • If a product is found to be damaged or defective on delivery, customer should notify us via email with photographic evidence within 5 days of receipt as indicated on invoice.
  • We will decide as to whether the item can still be sold and offer a suitable discount or exchange.
  • We may offer a replacement or a credit note at Bakers Direct Ltd discretion.
  • After 5 days, please do not contact us regarding damages and defective items.
  • We may ask the customer to package up the product and return products to us.
